  • Contracts for Innovation: Accessible Information on Coaches

    Organisations can apply for a share of up to £680,000, inclusive of VAT. This is to develop an affordable, user friendly hardware and software solution, which provides accessible audio visual information on coaches.

    To lead a project, you can:

    • be an organisation of any size
    • work alone or with other organisations as subcontractors

  • Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP): 2024 to 2025 Round 5

    UK registered academic institutions, RTOs or Catapults can apply for a share of up to £9 million to fund innovation projects with businesses or not for profits.

    Eligibility

    To lead a project your organisation must:

    • be a UK registered higher education or further education institution, research and technology organisation (RTO) or Catapult
    • collaborate with a UK registered business, eligible public sector organisation, social enterprise, co-operative, charity or charitable business; with two or more full time employees

    The business must contribute to the project’s costs.

  • Collaborative R&D: Creative Catalyst

    UK registered businesses can apply for a share of up to £2 million for projects that develop new innovative products and tools for the UK creative industry. This funding is part of Innovate UK’s Creative Catalyst.

    Eligibility

    This competition is open to collaborations only.

    To lead a project your organisation must:

    • be a UK registered small or micro company
    • collaborate with other UK registered organisations
    • fall within one of the creative industries subsectors
    • involve at least one grant claiming business outside the Greater London area

  • India - UK Collaborative R&D for industrial sustainability Rd 2

    UK registered organisations can apply for a share of up to £2 million for innovative proposals developed with India. You must collaborate with at least one Indian business applying under the equivalent Technology Development Board programme.

    Eligibility

    This competition is open to UK and Indian collaborations only.

    To lead a project your organisation must:

    • be a UK registered business of any size
    • be or involve at least one UK registered micro, small or medium sized enterprise (SME)
    • collaborate with an Indian registered business, which must be a separate legal entity, not linked to the UK partners

  • Contracts for Innovation: Clean Energy Demonstrators in Tanzania

    Organisations can apply for a share of up to £1.8 million, inclusive of VAT, to develop innovative clean energy demonstrators in Tanzania.

    Eligibility

    To lead a project, you must:

    • be an organisation of any size
    • work alone or with other organisations as subcontractors
    • carry out demonstration or field testing in Tanzania for a minimum of three months, with in-country users in real life operating conditions

    Contracts will be awarded to a single legal entity only.
