  • UK-South Korea CR&D 2024

    UK registered businesses can apply for a share of up to £6 million for the purpose of developing innovative proposals with South Korea. You must collaborate with at least one South Korean business applying under the equivalent KIAT or KETEP programme.

    Eligibility

    To lead a project your organisation must:

    • be a UK registered business of any size
    • partner with a South Korean registered business, which must be a separate non-linked entity to the UK project partners

  • Diet and health innovation: Early stage feasibility projects

    UK registered organisations can apply for a share of up to £2.5 million for early stage feasibility projects working with one or more of the Diet and Health Open Innovation Research Club (OIRC) hubs. This funding is from BBSRC and Innovate UK.

    To lead a project your organisation must be a UK registered:

    or
    The lead applicant and partners must be members of a Diet and Health Open Innovation Research Club (OIRC) hub.

  • UK - Germany Bilateral: Collaborative R&D Round 3

    UK registered organisations, collaborating with at least one German SME applying under the equivalent German ZIM programme, can apply for a share of up to £4 million for collaborative projects resulting in innovative solutions in emerging technologies.

    Eligibility

    This competition is open to UK and German collaborations only.
    To lead a project your organisation must:
    • be a UK registered business of any size
    • be or involve at least one grant claiming UK registered micro, small or medium-sized enterprise (SME)
    • collaborate with a German registered SME

  • Eureka Quantum collaborative R&D Multilateral 2024

    UK registered organisations can apply for a share of up to £2 million to develop quantum technologies with organisations from Eureka partner countries.

    Eligibility

    This competition is open to collaborations only.

    To be eligible for grant funding from Innovate UK, you must:

    • be business-led
    • be or include at least one UK registered micro, small or medium sized enterprise (SME)
    • include at least two independent legal entities from a minimum of two Eureka countries participating in the competition

    The UK is a Eureka country participating in the competition.

    For more information on company sizes, please refer to the company accounts guidance. This is a change from the EU definition unless you are applying under State aid.

  • UK-Switzerland CR&D Round 2

    UK registered organisations can apply for a share of up to £4 million for innovative projects in all technologies. You must collaborate with at least one Swiss implementation partner applying under the equivalent Swiss Innosuisse programme.

  • Horizon Europe Guarantee - EIT KICs 2023

    This funding route is to deliver the UK Government’s Horizon Europe guarantee. Specifically, it covers funding for UK partners involved in EIT-KIC activities in the 2023 calendar year.

    Eligibility

    You will be eligible to register with UKRI for the Horizon Europe guarantee through this route if you:

    • are a UK-based organisation which will carry out an EIT-KIC approved project
    • will incur relevant costs during the 2023 calendar year.
