  • Robotics for a more resilient future R&D strand

    UK registered businesses can apply for a share of up to £6 million in grant funding for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies. This funding is from the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund (ISCF).

    Eligibility

    This competition is open to collaborations only.

    To lead a project your organisation must:
    • be a UK registered business of any size
    • carry out your project in the UK
    • intend to exploit the results from the UK
    • involve a micro, small or medium sized enterprise (SME) if you are a large business
    A research and technology organisation (RTO) can lead with prior agreement by contacting customer support by email at least 10 working days before the competition deadline.

  • NATEP: helping SMEs innovate in aerospace Autumn 2020

    UK registered micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) can apply for a share of up to £2.5 million for industry led civil aerospace research projects.

    Eligibility

    To lead a project your organisation must:

    All project partners must sign up to the Aerospace Technology Institute framework agreement to allow data sharing with the Aerospace Technology Institute prior to funding award.

  • Sort and segregate nuclear waste: phase 1 (SBRI competition)

    Organisations can apply for a share of £3.9 million, including VAT, to develop an autonomous, integrated toolkit to sort and segregate nuclear waste.

    Eligibility

    To lead a project, you can:

    • be an organisation of any size
    • work alone or with others as subcontractors

    Contracts will be awarded to a single legal entity only.

    You will need to show that your proposed idea has a credible and practical route to market.
