  • Future Leaders Fellowships: Round 10, business and non-academic

    UK registered organisations can apply for a share of up to £110 million for ambitious research and innovation projects in any sector, and tailored support to develop careers for future leaders. This funding is from UKRI.

    Eligibility

    This competition is open to single applicants with supporting organisations.

    To lead a project your organisation must be a UK registered:

    • business of any size
    • charitable organisation
    • Catapult
    • public body
    • Agri-Tech Centre
    • eligible research organisation

  • Farming Futures R&D Fund: Precision Breeding Competition

    UK registered businesses can apply for a share of up to £12.5 million for precision breeding of arable and horticultural crops. This funding is from the Farming Futures R&D Fund, a part of the Farming Innovation Programme.

    To lead a project your organisation must be a UK registered business of any size.

    You must collaborate with other UK registered organisations and must involve at least one of the following:

  • Farming Futures R&D Fund: low emissions farming

    UK registered organisations can apply for a share of up to £12.5 million for Industrial research projects from the Farming Futures R&D Fund, a part of the Farming Innovation Programme.

    Eligibility

    This competition is open to collaborations only.
    To lead a project your organisation must be a UK registered:
    • business of any size
    • academic institution
    • research and technology organisation (RTO)
    You must collaborate with other UK organisations. Your project must involve at least one eligible grant claiming business of any size.

  • Full ADOPT Grant: Round 1

    Farming, growing or forestry businesses based in England can apply for a share of up to £2 million for on-farm trial and demonstration projects, to improve adoption of new ideas or solutions in the agricultural sector.

    This competition is open to collaborations only.

    To lead a project your organisation must:

    • be an active farming, growing or forestry business of any size based in England
    • be able to evidence that you are an established business, including sole traders and partnerships
    • collaborate with at least one other farming businesses of any size based in the UK

  • ADOPT Facilitator Support Grant: Round 1

    Farming, growing or forestry businesses based in England can apply for a grant of £2,500, to engage an external Project Facilitator to support the development of a Full ADOPT Grant application.

    To lead a project your organisation must:
    • be an active farming, growing or forestry business of any size based in England
    • be able to evidence that you are an established business, including sole traders and
    • have a UK bank account

  • Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP): 2025 – 2026 Round 2

    UK registered academic institutions, RTOs or Catapults can apply for a share of up to £9 million to fund innovation projects with businesses or not for profits.

    Eligibility

    To lead a project your organisation must:

    • be a UK registered higher education or further education institution, research and technology organisation (RTO) or Catapult
    • collaborate with a UK registered business of any size, eligible public sector organisation, charity or charitable business with two or more full time employees
    The business must contribute to the project’s costs.

  • Developing Semiconductor Hardware For Critical Technologies

    UK registered businesses can apply for a share of up to £5 million. These feasibility studies will investigate ways to improve semiconductor design and manufacture within the UK to support critical technologies.

  • Contracts for Innovation: READ-OUT digital cognitive dementia assessments

    Organisations can apply for a single award of up to £600,000, inclusive of VAT, to implement and assess a dementia based digital cognitive assessment (DCA) to be evaluated as part of the READ-OUT study being managed by the University of Oxford.
