    UK businesses can apply for a share of £1 million for early-stage, human-centred design projects that will determine future R&D activity in immersive experiences. This is from the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund.

    UK businesses can apply for a share of up to £16 million to transform the creative industries by testing large, immersive experiences with mass audiences.

    • carry out your project work, and intend to exploit the results, from the UK

  • Robotics and AI: inspect, maintain and repair in extreme environments

    Individuals can apply to join a 5-day collaborative workshop to develop project proposals to use robotic and AI systems to service infrastructures in challenging environments. Projects will be funded by the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund.

    Eligibility:

    To apply for the collaborative residential workshop (the Innovation Lab) you must:

    • be nominated to act as a representative on behalf of your organisation
    • attend on behalf of a UK-based business, academic organisation, research and technology organisation (RTO) or charity
    • have the technical competence necessary to collaborate with other participants on solutions to the challenge

  • Precision medicine technologies: shaping the future
