  • Innovate UK Fast Start Net Zero Living Digital

    UK registered small and micro businesses can apply for a share of up to £2 million to develop data driven digital applications solving challenges in delivering net zero. This funding is from Net Zero Living and Telecoms Technology Missions Fund programmes

    Eligibility

    This competition is open to single applicants only.

    To lead a project your organisation must:

    • be a UK registered micro or small business
    • not have previously been awarded funding from Innovate UK
    • carry out its project work in the UK
    • intend to exploit the project outcomes from the UK for domestic or global benefit

  • Farming Innovation Programme: Research Starter round 4 - EoI

    Farming, growing or forestry businesses based in England can apply for a share of up to £850,000 for feasibility projects to improve productivity, sustainability resilience and move the agricultural sector to net zero. 

    Eligibility

    This competition is open to single applicants only.

    To lead a project your organisation must:

    • be an active farming, growing or forestry business of any size based in England
    • be able to evidence that you are an established business, including sole traders and partnerships
    • not have been awarded Innovate UK funding as a project lead within the last 5 years before 14 February 2024

  • Improving and Scaling-up Semiconductor Manufacturing – CR&D

    UK registered businesses can apply for up to £12 million as part of a collaborative research & development drive into ways to improve and scale up semiconductor manufacture and improve supply-chain resilience within the UK.

  • UK-Australia Renewable Hydrogen Innovation Partnership Programme

    UK registered businesses can apply for a share of up to £5 million for collaborative innovation projects between the UK and Australia. Projects must focus on the cost reduction of clean hydrogen. The UK funding is from Innovate UK.

    Eligibility

    This competition is open to single applicants and collaborations. To lead a project your organisation must:

    • be a UK registered business of any size
    • be or involve a grant claiming UK registered micro, small or medium-sized enterprise (SME)
    • partner with an Australian registered business or organisation, which must be a separate non-linked entity to the UK project partner

  • Transport Decarbonisation Demonstrators

    UK registered businesses can apply for a share of up to £2 million to work with Local Authorities to develop place-based solutions to transport decarbonisation. This funding is from the Department for Transport (DfT).

  • Zero Emission Generators (ZE-Gen) Accelerator Phase 1: Discover

    Organisations can apply for a share of up to £2 million for feasibility studies to develop renewable replacements for fossil fuel generators in Nigeria or the Philippines.

  • Growing Kent and Medway: prototyping and demonstrator fund

    UK registered businesses can apply for a share of up to £750,000 for the development and demonstration of innovative new technologies. These projects will be in the horticultural food and drink supply chain.

    • carry out at least 60% of your project activity in the Kent and Medway (K&M) area
