  • Environmental Monitoring Innovation

    UK registered businesses can apply for a share of up to £5 million for collaborative projects to develop innovative solutions in environmental monitoring. This funding is from Innovate UK and The Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (Defra).

  • Farming Innovation Programme: Large R&D partnerships Round 3

    UK registered businesses can apply for a share of up to £7.8 million for large R&D partnership projects, from the industry-led R&D Partnerships Fund, a part of the Farming Innovation Programme.

    To lead a project your organisation must be a UK registered:

    • business of any size
    • collaborate with other UK registered organisations
    • be or involve at least one grant claiming micro, small or medium-sized enterprise
    • involve at least one grant claiming academic institution, research and technology organisation, charity, not-for-profit or public sector organisation

  • APC25: Industrialising net zero automotive technology

    UK registered businesses can apply for a share of up to £25 million for late-stage R&D projects that help accelerate the UK towards a net zero automotive future.

  • Eureka collaborative R&D: Eurostars 3 Call 6

    UK registered organisations can apply for a share of up to £2.5 million for collaborative research in partnership with organisations from participating Eurostars countries.

    Eligibility

    This competition is open to collaborations only. To be eligible for grant funding from Innovate UK your collaboration:
    • must include at least one UK registered micro, small or medium sized enterprise (SME)
    • must include at least one eligible partner from one of the Eurostars countries participating in the competition

  • ATI Programme strategic batch: EOI January 2024

    The ATI Programme funds industrial research and investment aid for research infrastructures to make the UK civil aerospace sector more competitive.

    This competition is open to single applicants and collaborations.

    To lead a project or work alone your organisation must:

    • be a UK registered business of any size to lead a research project
    • be a UK registered business of any size, an academic institution, research organisation or a research and technology organisation (RTO) to lead a capital infrastructure project
    • plan to carry out an aerospace research or technology development project in the UK
    • address the requirements of the UK Aerospace Technology Strategy
    • sign up to the Aerospace Technology Institute framework agreement

  • Farming Innovation Programme: Research Starter round 4 - EoI

    Farming, growing or forestry businesses based in England can apply for a share of up to £850,000 for feasibility projects to improve productivity, sustainability resilience and move the agricultural sector to net zero. 

    Eligibility

    This competition is open to single applicants only.

    To lead a project your organisation must:

    • be an active farming, growing or forestry business of any size based in England
    • be able to evidence that you are an established business, including sole traders and partnerships
    • not have been awarded Innovate UK funding as a project lead within the last 5 years before 14 February 2024
