  • CELTIC-NEXT autumn 2019: innovative 5G infrastructure and applications

    UK organisations can apply for a share of up to £2 million for 5G collaborative R&D projects in the EUREKA CELTIC programme.

    Eligibility

    To lead a project you must:

    • be a UK registered business, of any size
    • involve at least one UK micro, small or medium-sized enterprise (SME)
    • collaborate with at least one other UK organisation
    • collaborate with at least one other organisation from a EUREKA country
    • have submitted a CELTIC proposal before applying to this competition

  • Enabling data access in accountancy, insurance and legal services: CR&D

    Apply for a share of up to £3.5 million from the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund, to enable data access and innovation in accountancy, insurance and law.

    Eligibility

    To be eligible your organisation must:

    • be a UK-based business, academic institution, charity, public sector organisation or research and technology organisation (RTO)
    • carry out its project work in the UK
    • intend to exploit the results from or in the UK
    • be invited to take part by the lead applicant

    To lead a project your organisation must have participated in the Innovation Lab.

  • October expression of interest: ATI programme

    The Aerospace Technology Institute (ATI) Programme, formerly the UK Aerospace Research and Technology Programme, provides funding to industrial research and capital projects to encourage innovation in UK civil aerospace.

    Eligibility

    To lead a project or work alone your organisation must:

    • be a UK registered business of any size to lead a research project
    • be a UK registered business of any size, an academic institution, or a research and technology organisation (RTO) to lead a capital investment project
    • plan to carry out an aerospace research or technology development project in the UK
    • address the requirements of the UK Aerospace Technology Strategy
    • sign up to the Aerospace Technology Institute (ATI) framework agreement

    This is an expression of interest competition. You must have a successful application in this competition before you can be invited to apply to the full stage competition.

  • ISCF healthy ageing trailblazers: stage 1

    This is stage 1 of a 2-stage competition. A total fund of up to £2 million is on offer for stage 1 to conduct research and develop a business plan for a healthy ageing ‘trailblazer’. This funding is from the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund.

  • GCRF demonstrate impact in meeting the sustainable development goals: phase 1

    Organisations can apply for a share of up to £9.3 million to demonstrate market-creating innovations in lower income countries and emerging economies. This funding is Official Development Assistance from the Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF).

    Eligibility

    To be eligible for funding you must be a UK registered or international:

    You must comply with Official Development Assistance requirements throughout the lifetime of the project.

    The technical project work can be led by an organisation from any country. The administrative work must be led by a business from the UK.
