  • April 2020 expression of interest: ATI Programme

    The ATI Programme provides funding for industrial research and capital projects to encourage innovation in UK civil aerospace.

    Eligibility

    To lead a project or work alone your organisation must:

    • be a UK registered business of any size to lead a research project
    • be a UK registered business of any size, an academic institution, or a research and technology organisation (RTO) to lead a capital investment project

  • Business-led innovation in response to global disruption (de minimis)

    UK registered businesses can apply for a share of up to £20 million to respond to new and urgent needs in UK and global communities during and following the Covid-19 pandemic.

    Eligibility

    This competition is open to single applicants only.

    To lead a project your organisation must:

    • be a UK registered business of any size
    • carry out its project work in the UK
    • intend to deliver the proposed outcomes for UK domestic or global benefit

    Sole traders are not eligible to apply for this competition

    You can claim 100% of your project costs up to the maximum of £50,000. These will be paid in advance of the project start date.

  • ISCF digital security by design: technology enabled business-led demonstrator, phase 1

    UK businesses can apply for up to £5.8 million to collaborate on a digital security by design demonstrator project in which an additional technology ‘ingredient’ is required. This funding is from the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund.

    Eligibility

    To lead a project your organisation must:

    • be a UK registered business of any size
    • collaborate with others
    • carry out your project work in the UK
    • intend to exploit the results in or from the UK
    The lead organisation must show one of the following:

    • that they operate in an industry sector requiring secure products or services
    • evidence of a credible and recognisable influence that they have on the target market or markets
    • that they can lead on a new market or sector

  • 5G enabled road and rail transport trials in the West Midlands

    UK businesses can apply for a share of up to £2.5 million to support development of 5G enabled transport innovations.

  • GCRF demonstrate impact in developing countries: round 2, phase 1

    Organisations can apply for a share of up to £9.3 million to demonstrate market-creating innovations in lower income countries and emerging economies.

    Eligibility

    To be eligible for funding you must be a UK registered or international:

    You must comply with Official Development Assistance requirements throughout the lifetime of the project.

    The technical project work can be led by an organisation from any country. The administrative work must be led by a business from the UK.

  • SBRI: monitor and visualise domestic pollution to safeguard health

    Organisations can apply for a share of £100,000 including VAT, to develop an air quality monitor to provide information and advice on pollutants in the home.

    • be an organisation of any size
    • work alone or with other organisations as subcontractors
    Contracts will be awarded to a single legal entity only.
