  • Future Leaders Fellowships: Round 10, business and non-academic

    UK registered organisations can apply for a share of up to £110 million for ambitious research and innovation projects in any sector, and tailored support to develop careers for future leaders. This funding is from UKRI.

    This competition is open to single applicants with supporting organisations.

    To lead a project your organisation must be a UK registered:

    • business of any size
    • charitable organisation
    • Catapult
    • public body
    • Agri-Tech Centre
    • eligible research organisation

  • Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP): 2025 – 2026 Round 3

    UK registered academic institutions, research and technology organisations (RTOs) or Catapults can apply for a share of up to £9 million to fund innovation projects with businesses or not for profit organisations.

    Eligibility

    To lead a project your organisation must:

    • be a UK registered higher education or further education institution, research and technology organisation (RTO) or Catapult
    • collaborate with a UK registered business of any size, eligible public sector organisation, charity or charitable business with two or more full time employees

    The business must contribute to the project’s costs.

  • ADOPT Facilitator Support Grant: Round 2

    Farming, growing or forestry businesses based in England can apply for a grant of £2,500, to engage an external Project Facilitator to support the development of a Full ADOPT Grant application.

    Eligibility

    This competition is open to single applicants only.

    To lead a project your organisation must:

    • be an active farming, growing or forestry business of any size based in England
    • be able to evidence that you are an established business, including sole traders and partnerships
    • have a UK bank account

  • MSI Improving energy or resource efficiency in manufacturing FS

    UK registered organisations can apply for a share of up to £2m for feasibility projects to develop new industrial digital technologies leading to a more productive, resilient and sustainable sector.

    Eligibility

    This competition is open to single applicants or collaborations based in the UK.

    To lead a collaborative project, your organisation must be a UK registered business of any size.

    Collaborations may include academic institutions, UK businesses or research and technology organisations.

    To work alone your organisation must be a UK registered business of any size.

    All work must be carried out in the UK.

  • New Innovators in Marine and Maritime, Great South West

    UK registered micro and small businesses can apply for a share of up to £2.3 million for projects that grow their innovation activities in the marine and maritime cluster in the Great South West.

    Eligibility

    This competition is open to single applicants only.

    To lead a project your organisation must:

    • be a UK registered micro or small business
    • not have been previously awarded funding from Innovate UK
    • carry out all of its project work in the UK
    • intend to exploit the project outcomes from the UK for domestic or global benefit

  • Commercialising Knowledge Assets Fund (CKAF) Autumn

    UK registered government research organisations can apply for grants from £50,000 up to £250,000 to move viable public sector knowledge assets towards commercial readiness. This funding is provided by the Government Office for Technology Transfer (GOTT).

    Eligibility

    This competition is open to single applicants.

    To lead a project your organisation must be a UK registered:

    • Public Sector Research Establishment (PRSE), UKRI wholly owned institute

    or

    • other public sector bodies that meet GOTT standard eligibility criteria, for example, arms length bodies (ALBs), that undertake research as a primary function

    To lead a Discovery Phase Project, you must be an Ofgem licensed electricity or gas distribution network, transmission operator, or Electricity System Operator (ESO).
